Patrick and Ketanji first encountered each other in college. It was three decades ago when their initial meeting occurred, and friendship followed soon enough. They both attended Havard and in spite of their divergent backgrounds formed close bonds with one another.
Patrick was the sixth generation from his family to graduate from Havard, whereas Ketanji was the second generation in her family to do so. They became a couple after dating for some time, and Ketanji and Patrick became husband and wife in 1996.
Patrick and his wife have two daughters, Leila and Talia, and they have grown up accepting their parents’ success.
Career
Patrick is a physician by occupation. He was a surgical physician at the Massachusetts General Hospital, while his wife had been working in the courtroom. Following extended work hours at the hospital.
Patrick would visit and observe his wife as he also worked in the courts.
Patrick has seen his wife become successful in her professional life, just like he has been successful in the medical profession. He is a gastrointestinal surgeon now, and he practices as a general surgeon at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
Patrick’s wife is the first black female to be the Supreme Court’s Court Justice. Although she is successful now, she has struggled to reach this point.

Patrick Has Been Supporting Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Career
One thing that has ensured Patrick’s marriage is longer lasting is the manner in which they have been supporting one another. Even with a hectic career which has taken up most of their time, they have always managed to find time for one another.
After graduating from Harvard, Patrick and Ketanji began their careers in the same area. Patrick would work 24 hours a shift, but he would still make it to Ketanji’s workplace, to watch her as she worked.
Patrick and Ketanji have continued with their relationship, supporting each other, almost marking three decades in a relationship. Patrick and Ketanji are now proud parents to two daughters.
Children
Patrick’s two daughters have played a very important role in his life. Leila is the youngest in the family but has been eager to see her parents excel in their professional careers. At the age of eleven, Leila wrote to President Obama nominating her mother to the Supreme Court. A couple of years later, Leila lived to see her mother as the Court Justice of the Supreme Court following President Joe Biden’s nomination.
