Cash Cobain & Bay Swag’s “Fisherrr” had already become the latest craze in the New York roads. After the worldwide popularity of “Fisherrr,” the duo is turning up the heat with a video for their remix starring Ice Spice on Friday.
Ice Spice takes Cash’s example in the first song, rhyming, “Got an attitude, but I’m feeling lit, so I ain’t mad at you / And I’m tatted too, and it’s fatter too, I’m your worst boo.” She concludes her verse with a nod to her smash “Munch” song, saying, “I ain’t callin’ you “my boo,” nigga.” What do you think? “I was feeling you?”
Cash & Bay are in exclusive group among Ice Spice characteristics, and with good reason. “Fisherrr” has generated a lot of excitement since its release in late February, with a smooth piano loop and steady string that adds cinematic flair to the lads’ overt horniness and earworm phrases.

The song has gone popular in recent months, and it has been paired with New York-based dancer Reem’s Reemskii dance, an arms-out, sideways-moving gyration that only an uber-confident New Yorker could perform. There are brief views of the Reemskii in “Fisherrr’s” four-minute video, which intercuts shots of Cash and Ice at Chinese restaurant New China Garden with the three artists in an abandoned lot surrounded by a swarm of fellow New Yorkers and a couple of expensive cars.
The film, which takes place at and around a Chinese restaurant in the Bronx. following the trio as they make orders & flex their status until emerging outside the Nereid Avenue MTA station in the Bronx New York. In the new movie, clips from a vintage camcorder reveal Cobain, Swag, & Spice greeting fans and even participating in an impromptu “Reemski” dancing circle.
Throughout his presentation as Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie of the Monthly in April, Cobain hinted at a potential collaboration on the “Fisherrr” remix, and in our interview, he hinted at perhaps working with Ice Spice on the remix. Before the video’s premiere on Friday, Cobain spoke privately with Billboard about shooting the project alongside Spice & Swag.
“It was great. We wanted to create a real, authentic New York vibe, so we chose the Chinese restaurant because it’s a neighborhood mainstay,” he explains. “I just wanted it to have that Cash Cobain, Slizzy vibe, you know? Ice Spice was a pleasure to work with; she’s a very sweet girl. All of this feels wonderful, and I honestly believe it’s my chance to get over this.”
Fans received a sneak peek at the new video when bystanders tweeted images of Spice and Cobain on set, with some clips showing the two in mid-take. “The Queen or King of NYC,” both fan wrote on Twitter.
Check out the video, and ready to hear this remix everywhere this summer.
